Membership Requirements

To become a member of Bandarini SACCOS Limited, you must:

  1. Be employed by a public or private institution.
  2. Complete and submit a membership application form.
  3. Pay a one-time membership entrance fee of TZS 100,000.
  4. Contribute monthly savings equivalent to 7% of your income.
  5. Purchase shares with a minimum monthly contribution of TZS 10,000.
  6. Make monthly contributions through salary deduction or an approved payment arrangement.
  7. Introduce Bandarini SACCOS to your employer.

Responsibilities of Members

As a member, you are expected to:

  1. Maintain your savings and share contributions in accordance with SACCOS policies.
  2. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, bylaws, and resolutions of the Annual General Meeting.
  3. Repay loans according to agreed terms.
  4. Support the growth and sustainability of the Society through approved contributions and participation.
  5. Demonstrate integrity, loyalty, and cooperation in all Society activities.
  6. Attend seminars, training programs, and educational sessions organized by the Society and relevant cooperative authorities.
  7. Support fellow members through the guarantorship system where applicable.

Rights of Members

Every member of Bandarini SACCOS Limited has the right to:

  1. Participate fully in the activities and meetings of the Bandarini SACCOS Limited.
  2. Contribute to decisions made at Annual General Meetings.
  3. Vote under the principle of “One Member, One Vote,” regardless of the number of shares owned.
  4. Elect and be elected to leadership positions within the SACCOS.
  5. Access SACCOS services subject to applicable terms and conditions.
  6. Receive information regarding the SACCOS’s operations, performance, and governance.
  7. Nominate beneficiaries and successors.
  8. Receive dividends and other benefits arising from the SACCOS’s activities.
  9. Own and benefit from the collective assets of the SACCOS.
