Bandarini SACCOS Limited is a Savings and Credit Cooperative Society established in 1968 for employees of the Tanzania Ports Authority. It was officially registered in the Government Registry on 1 August 1968 in Dar es Salaam under the Cooperative Societies Act of 1968. Headquarters are located in Temeke District, Dar es Salaam, at the Bandarini SACCOS building opposite Benjamin William Mkapa Stadium. Its registration certificate number is DRS.1861. Over time,has continued to operate under updated legal and regulatory frameworks governing cooperatives and microfinance institutions in Tanzania. These include the Cooperative Societies Act No. 6 of 2013, SACCOS Regulations of 2015 and 2019, the Microfinance Services Act of 2018, and the 2025 bylaws edition. Today, Bandarini SACCOS continues to provide savings, credit and investment services aimed at improving the financial freedom to its members.
